Only in Iba
Subic comes to mind whenever one asks about the best place for a sojourn in Zambales. Unknown to many, Iba is the place calling not only for discovery but also for rediscovery. Although most of the younger generation chatter on mobile phones and live in concrete houses, the incursions of these modern-day life have done little to disturb the ancient rhythms of this tropical paradise. One realizes that the longer he spends time in Iba, the better he understands that the past is ever present and is just living beneath the surface. There are still unspoiled landscapes and gracious, unassuming people ready to give directions and answer any query pertaining to the place. The allure of the place is that one never quite knows what's around the corner.
